Sara (Romaine) Kappos graduated Ursinus College with a dual major in International Relations and Media/ Communications.

 

Through her studies Sara realized she loves the nuances of working effectively and empathetically with people, using her analytical side to implement solutions to a problem.

 

After working in the marketing industry, Sara joined Blue Hills Wealth Management in early 2013. She quickly pursued an advanced education in finance and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, as well as a Certified College Funding Specialist™ designations.

Sara’s advisory duties include the creation of comprehensive financial plans, development of solutions, and follow-thru with clients.   In addition to the normal planning process, she holds specialties in college selection and funding advice as well as employee benefits ( stock options and compensation strategies).  

 

In addition to the financial aspects of advising, Sara champions all marketing and client relation initiatives- creating holistic financial education programs such as Blue Hills “Life On Purpose” Series which addresses the non-financial issues of succeeding in your financial life. The goal of her work is to set Blue Hills Wealth Management clients on a path of confidence and comfort.

As a third-generation advisor, helping people conquer the many different types of issues and opportunities they encounter is in her blood. The attention and personal care toward each relationship is why clients have trusted Blue Hills Wealth Management with their financial futures since 1961.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family- her husband Jim, daughter Kalli and their two rambunctious doodles- Teddy and Trace. They love skiing in Waterville Valley in the winter and heading to the beach in Dennisport in the summer. Sara would describe herself as an avid reader, dancer, plant-lover, music aficionado and HGTV fan.
